ONEPAK, Inc. (CNQ: ONPK) announced today that Baltimore-based PA & Associates, a logistics consulting firm, has been engaged by the company to help reduce its shipping costs.
Costs for common carriers to deliver ONEPAK's shipping kits constitute a significant expense, and every percentage point in savings goes straight to the bottom line.
PA & Associates, recently named among Baltimore's Top 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies (#8) by the Baltimore Business Journal, specializes in creating managed solutions for streamlining parcel shipping and logistics for their clients.
“ONEPAK has seen an immediate positive impact on our bottom line,” said Shawn Stockman, who is responsible for business development at the company. “Not only has PA & Associates saved us money, but the results of their efforts have enabled us to pass along some of that savings to our clients, which gives us another competitive edge.”
ONEPAK has integrated their information systems with most major common carriers to enable clients to login to view real-time data on the status of their shipments. With better pricing from carriers due to PA & Associates, there will be even more good news to share.
