ONEPAK, Inc. (CNQ: ONPK) has partnered with DELL Inc (Nasdaq: DELL) and launched Dell's new nationwide U.S. small and medium business recycling program.
The new Dell Asset Recovery Service powered by ONEPAK enables businesses that are Dell customers to easily return unwanted computers, printers, and other equipment for environmentally-safe recycling. ONEPAK is handling the manufacture and distribution of the return packaging, as well as the logistics of coordinating return shipping through a new online web portal developed especially for Dell.
"When it's time to return or recycle unwanted computer equipment, it's critical that businesses turn to a trusted provider to guarantee a secure, easy-to-use and environmentally-responsible process," said Doug Hillary, director, Business Solutions Group, Global Services at Dell.
The new ONEPAK program enhances Dell's suite of small business services to provide a seamless customer experience from product purchase and set-up through end of life. Readers can learn more at http://www.dell.com/smbrecycle.
Dell plans to recover more than 275 million pounds of unwanted equipment by 2009. ONEPAK's specialization in e-waste returns management filled Dell's need for a large scale collection system as part of the program. |

“ONEPAK is pleased to partner with Dell on a project of not only this size and scope, but of such environmental benefit,” said Steve Andon, CEO of ONEPAK. The new offering enables more businesses to become part of ‘The ReGeneration' of people of all ages who care about the environment.
Environmental organizations and regulators offered support of the new program. "We think this is a great example of program innovation meeting environmental leadership," said Kate Krebs, executive director of the National Recycling Coalition. "By simplifying the process for small businesses, this program is helping to fill what for many years has been a missing link in responsible asset recovery."
